Melissa Odabash

Prior to launching her first collection, Melissa was living and modeling in Italy for top Italian designers. As a former catwalk and swimwear model, she knows a thing or two about swimwear. "The stuff I had to wear was hideous," she says, "I was modeling suits that were sparkly and tacky and I just thought: I can do better than this." So she did-- creating her first bikinis by hand and taking them around the boutiques of Milan. Her designs are inspired by Italian fashion-- styles that are about simplicity and high quality fabrics with a timeless elegance.

Cookie Johnson

It’s no small irony that Cookie Johnson hails from “Rocket City” – a town at the foot of a mountain in Alabama known for Space Camp, the NASA Flight Center and scientists who test out big ideas. Her own big idea, Cj by Cookie Johnson (premium denim for women with curves) was tested this Spring at Nordstrom and caused such a stir – selling out -- that it has since expanded nationwide, debuting in Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales this Fall.  A businesswoman at heart, Johnson came out of “retirement” -- from being a busy, full-time mom -- to pursue this endeavor. “I wanted to let women know that no matter their shape, they can look good and enjoy premium denim,” she says.

Pauline Youngblood

Pauline Youngblood, CEO and President of Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics, began her career as a licensed Medical Aesthetician. Many of her patients had severely traumatized skin (from harsh laser treatments, acne, rosacea and cosmetic surgeries), and were unable to wear makeup to conceal their conditions. Pauline was inspired to develop a foundation that would cover raw, inflamed or discolored skin, while allowing it to breathe and heal. This led to her initial work with natural mineral cosmetics, and in 1996, she founded her eponymous company.

Today, Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics continues to carry out Pauline’s original values: passion for providing the healthiest, highest quality products, while empowering women to look and feel their best.
